About Poligon Speed Dial

Poligon Speed Dial replaces your browser new tab page with a customizable speed dial. You can organize shortcuts, choose appearance settings, view weather, and back up or restore your configuration locally on your device.

Local storage

Your shortcuts, tabs, settings, and optional custom background images are stored locally in your browser using extension storage. Poligon Speed Dial does not operate a user account system and does not upload your speed dial data to a Poligon server.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party websites and APIs to work, including weather providers, favicon services, and font delivery. Shortcut preview thumbnails are generated by a Poligon screenshot service. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is sent and when.

Poligon Speed Dial is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the shortcuts you add and the backups you import.
• You must use Poligon Speed Dial in compliance with applicable laws and browser store policies.
• You must not use Poligon Speed Dial to probe, attack, or access systems you are not authorized to use.

Permissions

Poligon Speed Dial may request browser permissions such as storage and geolocation. Shortcut preview thumbnails are fetched from the Poligon screenshot service when you add or view shortcuts.

Disclaimer

Poligon Speed Dial is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or that saved data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
